The modelresidence is a part of Related Companies designer suite, located within theirnew tower at the expansive Hudson Yards development. The program called for adesign to illustrate Frampton Co’s modus operandi distilled into spacesbalanced by striking city and river views.

The curatedspace utilizes art as a focal point, sculptural furnishings, unabashed use ofcolor and strategic pattern. The goal was to express a personal modern and eclecticway of living in today’s new construction.

Exhibitionfeature annual summer shows as an experiment in artful living. The inauguralexhibition is a study in the duality of minimal versus maximal, whilechallenging the notion that a summer home must be white. Expanding on ElenaFrampton’s modus operandi to explore new ways to engage with art, this tactileand sensual experience is far from a museum. Blurring the lines between art anddesign, Frampton has shaped the space through a radical wall treatment withlayered art works, inventive sculptural furniture, and a lengthy and luxefloral and fringe Frampton-designed sofa.
