Italian architect and interior designer Piero Lissoni was born in 1956 with a degree from the Polytechnico of Milan. He is famous for his modern furniture design. Piero Lissoni is creative director for Alpi, Boffi, De Padova, Living Divani, Lema, Lualdi, Porro and Sanlorenzo for whom he also designs an extensive range of products.

Since then Piero Lissoni has worked with a dense list of design brands, such as Boffi, Cassina, Kartell, Living Divani and Flos on a wide diversity of designs of furniture and lighting.

In 2013, Piero Lissoni founded Lissoni Architecture in Italy, responsible for many international architectural clients. In 2015, Lissoni inc. was founded in New York, Lissoni & Partners has a thirty-year history in developing international projects in the fields of architecture, landscape, interior, product and graphic design, in addition to being responsible for the art direction for some of the most influential design companies.

Piero Lissoni's design principle is never to design for a specific function or purpose - but to design for human beings.
