Jose Maria has morethan 30 years of professional experience, creating more than 1,000 projects inhis career. Graduated from the polytechnic university of valencia in Spain in1983, he founded several design firms before founding Balzar Architects.

Txema Garcia is ayoung architect who graduated from the department of architecture at theuniversity of Porto in Portugal in 2008 and published his own book (LearningFrom Valencia) in the same year. In 2009, he attended the school ofarchitecture at the polytechnic university of valencia in Spain.

Txema Garcia'spartner Laura Moreno, who was born in Quesa, a small mountain town in theinterior of valencia, grew up in a privileged natural environment. Surroundedby handicrafts, reed ceilings, patios, house lighting, cutlery or collection ofolives with family. Contact with tradition brings Laura Moreno closer to natureand daily simplicity. Laura wanted to apply this "natural" look toarchitecture.
