Residence VPS is a minimal home located in Oudenaarde, Belgium, designed by Ville Design. The home is characterized by neutral tones and natural materials, namely oak flooring mixed with linen curtains and custom furniture. A few notable pieces include the Edifice Lamp by Elisa Uberti, and Pierre Jeanneret Chandigarh Chair.

The client commissioned Ville Design to Design this 250 SQM private residence, accustomed to the fresh country air, they wanted to create a quiet, minimalist apartment in the city that would separate them from the pressures and hustle and bustle of city life. In order to create an interior space that will stand the test of time, the designer chose impeccable products and details and carried them perfectly into the future.

Moroccan style Tadelakt plaster, a natural waterproof plaster, was used as a tactile substitute for tiles in the damp rooms and bathrooms, taking a central position throughout the conversion of the apartment. Tadelakt covers many surfaces -- walls, floors, cupboards, even kitchen cupboards. The shower floor is made of natural large size stone to ensure minimal maintenance. The designer's vision was to embrace the "less is more" attitude that is often seen in the studio's contemporary hotels and luxury residences.
