Kennedy Nolan Studio has completed Ballarat House, a residential project in Victoria, Australia. The studio wanted to create a house that is in harmony with the environment, located on the edge of such a unique lake, open to the changing water features and sky, while acting as a protective blanket to draw the land closer, nestled in a landscaped slope, separating the interior Spaces from the street outside.

The Expansive Kitchen is the first of three Spaces designed by Kennedy Nolan in collaboration with Laminex. Rachel Nolan, co-founder and principal of Kennedy Nolan explained, "Laminex is our preferred product. It's an Australian-made material with a wide range of affordable prices. The Laminex Colour Collection offers an unparalleled range of hues and offers design flexibility that allows Kennedy Nolan to explore unexpected and innovative uses of materials -- from bold design approaches to subtle details.
