Situated by the River Thames and offering magnificent views of The Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Gillray’s Steak House & Bar at Marriott County Hall offers the quintessential English drinking and dining experience.
Blacksheep were asked to create a stand alone brand to sit within the existing Marriott guidelines, a concept to champion the brand and location but independent in its execution. We worked with Marriott to create a 360° brand experience, which included brand strategy, F&B positioning, interior design, corporate identity, menus, packaging and uniforms.
The Gillray’s concept was driven by it’s brand personality of Eccentric English Charm. Complementing the Grade II listed building and iconic London location, the F&B offer was to showcase the very best of English produce, and the interior design drew inspiration from English classic detailing using natural and tactile materials. The most striking piece is the bespoke 9m long Chesterfield sofa.
